Turn-by-turn directions
From the main square of Tesero, ride down to the valley floor and cross the Avisio creek on the wooden bridge in Lago di Tesero.
Once reached the Cross-country ski Stadium, take the cycle route that leads to the wooden bridge in Panchià and cross it. A quick look to the MTB racetrack on the left side – with parabolic curves, bumps, natural and artificial obstacles – and then keep riding along the cycle route until you reach the roundabout in Predazzo.
After a few hundred meters on the main road, you will be able to take the forest road on your left, which heads back to Ziano after a left sharp turn. The sunny section you are riding on offers amazing views on the rocky mountainsides on your right.
The tour continues along the firebreak trails, passing by the towns of Panchià and Tesero, then going up to the valley of Stava.
The last uphill section crosses the valley and leads to the Astronomical Observatory (open from Mid-June to Mid-September with guided visits in the evening).
From here, ride back to the starting point.
