From Passo Lavazè (1830 m), near the skiing school, take the unsurfaced road and then trail No. 574. At the beginning the path is an easy route and then it climbs steeply to the summit of Pala di Santa (2.488 m).
From here the trail descends at first gently over the vast plateau along a stretch of a cart-track and then more steeply to Passo Pampeago (1.996 m).
From Passo Pampeago take on the left trail No. 9 that leads back to Passo Lavazè.
