Unexpected bucolic glimpses in uncrowded areas. Enjoy the convenience of reaching the highest point with the lifts.

Long walk mainly downhill for those who want to be surrounded by silence and cross pastures and woods mainly in solitude. We are in fact in an area that is easy to reach, thanks to the access guaranteed by the lifts, but outside the classic hiking circuits. So it won't be strange to do the entire excursion alone.

You will meet the small Baito dei Sugadoi during the excursion: a mountain hut, equipped in a very simple way as an emergency shelter.

The views over the Lagorai and the Pale di San Martino are always beautiful, not to mention the fact that you start from Passo Feudo, at the foot of the majestic Latemar Dolomiti Unesco.

Author’s recommendation

The path, mostly downhill, should not lead you to underestimate the difficulty: a minimum of training and endurance are still necessary.

Turn-by-turn directions

Reach Passo Feudo from Pampeago with Latemar chairlift and then on path No. 521 or from Predazzo with Latemar MontagnAnimata lifts.

From Passo Feudo descend along the dirt road and just before arriving on the flat stretch, on the left, follow the signs for "Baito Sugadoi" and "Funivie Gardonè". The path cuts across the coast under the refuge, passing under the chairlift.

At a crossroads ignore the signs “Monte Gardonè cableway” and follow the signs for "Baito Sugadoi 0.35 min" and "Funivie Gardonè 2.40 hours".

Continue on the path, first flat and then slightly downhill until you reach the small "Baito dei Sugadoi". The path continues downhill. At the end of the steep section, ignore the forest road on the left and continue to the right to Gardonè. Take this track that ends in the Dragons Forest (thematic path for families with children) and continue to the right reaching the cable car that leads back to Predazzo.

Questions and answers

Question from Andrea Niccolini · September 14, 2022 · Community

Question from Stefano Simioni · June 26, 2021 · Community
Buongiorno, vorrei sapere se ci sono tratti di cammino in costa nel percorso proposto. Grazie
Show more
Buongiorno, per "in costa" intende su un crinale oppure un sentiero esposto? Nessun crinale. Il percorso attraversa un avvallamento, poi un pascolo e poi scende a tratti nel bosco. Non ci sono tratti esposti.
