The Lagorai Chain is famous for its wild and remote spots, elements that make it particularly suggestive. Lago Cece is no exception and the path that reaches it is very fascinating. Near the lake there is a characteristic wooden hut that is always open and a table with 2 benches ideal for a tasty picnic.

Author’s recommendation

From the lake it is possible to continue along the trail no. 336 and reach the characteristic Laghetto Caserina in less than an hour.

Lake Cece is a barrier-free excursion and it is also accessible to nature lovers on wheelchair on a dedicated path.

Lago Cece

Turn-by-turn directions

From Ponte (bridge) Valmaggiore (1570m) take path No. 336 which goes into the woods, where the damages of the Vaia storm are visible. The route takes place first on a forest road and then continues on a classic mountain path. After passing a beautiful pasture, continue the walk, until you reach the suggestive Lago di Cece with it's wooden hut.

If you want, you can continue for about 1 hour to the characteristic Lago di Caserina, always on path No. 336. The small lake, set among large porphyry boulders, has an intense color that varies from dark green to blue.

Return back on the same route.

Il sentiero 336 è percorribile fino al "Laghetto Caserina", dopodiché un cartello avvisa che non è più agibile. Il cartello di avviso l'ho visto sabato scorso.
