Close your eyes and visualize green pastures, bucolic wooden huts, the white rock of the Dolomites that stands out in the blue sky in front of you... this is the panorama that awaits you along one of the most beautiful walks in the valley.

You will pass through the pastures of Canvere, where the old barns preserve the heritage of a peasant society active in those meadows until a few decades ago.

Turn-by-turn directions

From Bellamonte at lift station Castelir, take the Bellamonte 3.0 gondolas to La Morea.

There, take the forestry road and walk along the pastures of Canvere, inside the area of the Natural Park of Paneveggio, where you can meet cows, horses and flocks of sheep. You will reach Malga Bocche, located on a panoramic hill.

Bus from Predazzo conntects to Bellamonte and Castelir lift station.

By road

From Predazzo take the road to Passo Rolle. After the village of Bellamonte turn left, direction lifts of Castelir.

There are lots of parking possibility at the lift departure.

ma bisogna prendere gli impianti di risalita o si può partire da valle ?

Il percorso pubblicato (sola andata) è di 4,6 km con 80 metri di dislivello in salita. Se vuole partire da valle, deve aggiungere altri 3,2 km e 450 metri di dislivello. Se parte da valle e rientra a valle, sono circa 16 km di percorso, con 550 metri di dislivello in salita.
