It is called RespirArt and it is one of the highest art parks in the world. It winds between 2,000 and 2,200 meters in Pampeago, in Val di Fiemme, at the foot of the Latemar Dolomites.

The art park "RespirArt" is a green gallery constantly developing. Artists from all over the world come to the park and create Land Art works inspired by the surrounding Dolomite landscape. New installations are added every summer, while the older ones change according to weather conditions, or are destroyed by the weight of the snow. This is how the works, created with natural elements, return to nature.

There are 2 ways of discovering the park: only downhill, thanks to the ascent with the Agnello chairlift (from Pampeago), or on foot from the parking lot of the Tresca chairlift. The climb is not particularly demanding, however it has some steeper sections before the Chalet Caserina. The rhododendrons and blueberry plants along the way delight the eyes and palate!

Author’s recommendation

Visit the art park also in winter on skis! The Agnello slope runs right next to the most representative works!

Turn-by-turn directions

From Pampeago you can take the Agnello chairlift to reach the Latemar.Art hike.

This interesting hike begins at the parking lot of the valley station of the “Tresca” chair lift, in Pampeago. Follow the unpaved path no. 514, which leads steeply up to the “Chalet Caserina” (managed) hut. You continue on path No. 514 and admire the various works of environmental art along the way.

When you reach an intersection, turn left to reach the Monte Agnello hut.

From here it goes back down to Chalet Caserina and then to the starting point.
