One of the most classic in the Lagorai mountains, characterized by the beautiful slope "Lastè" of about 500 m vertical drop.

In good snow conditions an off-piste delight.

Destination

Litegosa Pass

Turn-by-turn directions

Ascent: Follow the forest road along the mountain valley Cavelonte, passing the little mountain church and the ruins of an old building (right), till you reach the Alpine farm Toazzo (1464 m).

Now follow a further forest path, half hidden in the woods. After the bend turn right.

The trail gets continually smaller and steeper till you arrive at the ruins of  the former Alpine farm “Litegosa” (1770 m).

Continue heading up, first through a wide channel to the left and later on the beautiful slope “Lastè”.

Before you reach the Litegosa Pass, swing right (West), near a large boulder block. Depending on the snow conditions, climb the channel below the summit, first right, then left till you arrive to the base of the final ridge.

Bear up without skis along the ridge to the summit or with skis on the right steep slope.

Descent: by the same route
