Das Bivacco E. Rigatti liegt auf 2620 m in der Großen Latemarscharte.

Das Biwak ist die einzige Unterkunft im östlichen Latemar und bietet z.B. bei der Latemar-Überschreitung oder bei einer Begehung des Klettersteigs Sentiero Attrezzato dei Campanili del Latemar Unterschlupf. Vom Bivacco E. Rigatti lässt sich die Östliche Latemarspitze in rund einer halben Stunde erreichen.
