Das Baito Val Bona befindet sich damit in den südlichen Ausläufern des Latemars. Von der stets geöffneten Schutzhütte bietet sich ein beeindruckender Blick auf die Gipfel der Lagorai-Kette. Der Monte Agnello ist von der Hütte aus in rund einer halben Stunde zu erreichen.
